Rounding Third

Don is a fiercely competitive little league coach who lives by the motto “win at all costs,” believing that victory defines success both on the field and in life. On the other hand, Michael, his quirky and idealistic assistant coach, sees the game as an opportunity for kids to have fun and grow, considering them winners simply for participating. Don’s son is the team’s star pitcher, while Michael’s child struggles just to keep his shoelaces tied.

Their opposing views on parenting and baseball spark ongoing clashes, both on and off the diamond. However, as this sharp, funny, and heartfelt play unfolds, the two coaches come to realize that their shared passion for the sport matters more than their differences. Through their journey, they find that sometimes the best victories aren’t the ones scored on the field.
